1. No Data Collection

Unripe Labs operates on a strict Local-Only basis. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data, browsing history, or usage metrics.

The "Unripe Pomodoro" extension functions entirely client-side (on your device). No data ever leaves your browser.

2. Permissions Usage

To provide its core functionality, the extension requires specific permissions. Here is exactly how they are used:

• Tabs & Host Permissions ("Read your browsing history"): The extension monitors the URL of your currently active tab only while the timer is running. This is used solely to detect if you have navigated to a blocked site (e.g., YouTube) so the timer can trigger the "Rot" state. This check happens locally in your browser's memory. We do not log or save your history.
• Storage: Used to save your local preferences (e.g., your custom blocklist and the current state of the timer). This data is stored on your device via the Chrome Storage API.
• Notifications: Used to alert you when the timer completes (Ripens).
• Alarms: Used to track time accurately while the browser is in the background.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) or tracking pixels.

4. Data Retention

Since we do not collect data, we have no data to retain. If you uninstall the extension, all local settings stored on your device are permanently deleted by the browser.
